Our Story

Our parent company was founded in August of 2014 with a clear vision of establishing a real estate company with a people first approach, creating long lasting tenant partnerships, and a strong employee base by staying true to our core values. We wanted to prove that you can create a better landscape for the next generation while driving profits for investors and tenants alike. It wasn’t until 2016 that our journey truly began to take shape by formally establishing our operations and our first client. We have since expanded our client base and breadth, working with multiple tenant partners in different subsets of the Education, Health, & Wellness industries across the world. EIG14T is proud of what we have achieved and will continue to help both our clients and the communities we build in grow to their full potential.

Our company was formed with more than financial aspirations. It was formed with the goal of Enriching Communities Through Real Estate. We will always strive to work with clients and investors that share our passion for bringing access to education, health, and wellness services to communities across the country, regardless of demographic and geographic boundaries.

As the real estate industry continues to significantly evolve, we believe the next stage in this evolution is to be highly specialized with a refined list of clienteles. Our niche is serving as a turnkey real estate partner for corporately operated companies in the education, health, and wellness spaces that are hungry for growth.
Joe Bianchini

Joe Bianchini
Joe joined EIG14T in May of 2015 as one of their first employees in the role of Project Manager, overseeing the construction of many local projects that EIG14T acted as both the developer and general contractor on. Joe gained valuable experience in working directly with the trades and being able to be onsite at various points throughout the project duration. As EIG14T began to expand its territory beyond Metro Detroit, Joe elevated to a Senior Project Manager position where he worked on multiple projects in several different states, working with general contractors that EIG14T contracted to oversee the construction of their projects. Since that time, Joe has become the Director of Construction and a Principal at EIG14T, where he is responsible for a team that oversees 50M in construction annually, in markets across the country. Joe is married to his wife Brooke, whom he met in middle school, and they have two kids, Hazel and Jack. As a family, they try to do as much as they can together, including trips to Northern Michigan, being outdoors, spending time on a boat and occasionally, the local brewery. As a competitive cyclist, Joe spends his free time on long rides around Southeast Michigan or participating in local bike races.
Pat Fenton

Pat Fenton
Pat Fenton was the origin of opportunity for EIG14T. He is a true rags to riches story and has selflessly served as a mentor to countless people throughout his journey. Pat has served as a business operator and investor for over 40 years with many noteworthy achievements. He successfully founded Rainbow Childcare Centers in 1986, leading the company from its inception to the delivery of its 150th location. During that time, he sold the company 3 times to private equity groups and then ultimately to KinderCare. Pat also led the purchase of Crest Marine during the challenging economic time of 2008, taking the business from an annual production of 200 boats a year to more than 3,000 boats a year before successfully selling to Mastercraft. His list of professional achievements continues to grow as he is currently invested in over 10 different businesses, several of which he serves as a board member. Pat may appear to focus solely on business, but his true passion is his family. He has been happily married to his wife Laura for over 40 years. Together they have 4 sons, all of whom have followed in their father’s path of becoming entrepreneurs and are the proud grandparents of 3.  In the few hours he is not working or watching his grandchildren, Pat enjoys hunting with his sons, cleaning his garage, and looking after his hobby farm.

Reed started EIG14T with the idea of improving the world we live in while also providing a platform to achieve financial success not just for himself, but for all that work, invest, or partner with EIG14T. This vision has evolved into a company with a culture second to none, that has a noteworthy track record and an operation highly refined to deliver on its promises. Reed serves as the CEO of EIG14T, with his primary roles being the strategic planning for both our company and our tenants, managing client relationships, and a relentless pursuit for a great culture.  He has led the expansion of EIG14T into over 35 states with an ever-growing number of successful projects; none of which would be possible without the amazing leadership team, many of whom have been with us since our inception.   Although he takes pride in his professional achievements, they do not hold a candle to his greatest passion – marrying the love of his life, Nicole, and starting the next generation of Fentons. During the limited moments of time away from work, Reed enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and traveling the world.
Nick Hillard

Nick Hillard
Nick leads the finance team from budgeting to long-term investment strategy. His real estate career began in London as part of the Development & Asset Strategy team of JLL, followed by several years as a commercial real estate broker directly participating in over $500MM in investment activities. Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with double majors in Structural Engineering & Finance from Washington University in St. Louis. When he’s not at work, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife Carrie, their daughter Violet, and dog Archie. Nick’s passions include art, duck hunting, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.  
Landen Hinds

Landen Hinds
Landen has a financial mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit. He attended Michigan State University, received his bachelor’s degree in accounting, returned to school for his dual MS in Accounting and Finance, and passed all the CPA exams. Initially, Landen planned to go into Public Accounting, completing an internship at a Big 4 accounting firm, but after spending time at EIG14T decided to forgo this initial plan, believing in the long-term vision of EIG14T. As the Director of Capital Markets, Landen’s role is pivotal in overseeing EIG14T’s lending relationships. His responsibilities span working with lenders of all sizes, from small community banks to some of the largest in the country. Under his leadership, the number of new lenders EIG14T collaborates with has seen a remarkable increase of ~400%. Outside of work, Landen is passionate about sports, traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
